That's just an insane person. But yes, I do hate bicyclists. I live in a county with probably hundreds of miles of biking trails, but cyclists only seem to ride on the 55 mph 2 lanes with blind curves. They haven't taken the hint yet that people don't stop for them anymore.

I'm a cyclist. As I read earlier today somewhere else:
There's a fine line between insane and genius. We call that line the Russian border.
I don't like being generalized any more than the next person, so we'll just say that there are people that simply don't understand when they've crossed a line, and there are people that need medication and anger management classes.
There's also people that just need a large gun shoved in their face once in a while to serve as a wakeup call to reality, and a reminder that they just need to sit the fuck down.
The cyclist is in that smaller third group. I've flipped off drivers before for nearly killing me, but most importantly, I just kept on moving. Doesn't help anyone to sit there and scream. Go about your day, and things will be fine. Get a GoPro/Dashcam for next time.

I have a particular road in mind with a bunch of blind curves and changing pavement conditions. It is also a regular route for dump trucks going to a quarry and yet cyclists ride on this rather going on roads with a bike lane or on the numerous bike trails.
This POS road has markings on the pavement from the cyclists' club too. You'd think that they'd smarten up after the third butt-clenching encounter with a dump truck and a car.

Multiple fatalities have happened just on the rural road near my house. Another road near my house is a construction zone. I about got hit by a fucking dump truck one day, because he was trying to dodge a fucking cyclist who wouldn't get the fuck over in a busy curve during rush hour.

crikey it's a headline on the internet. Didn't know I would be viciously attacked for not coming up with some creative headline that is politically correct.

I was going 25 on a road with a 30mph speed limit on my bike. A guy in a Nissan Armada honked at me speeding past me, he was easily going 45, probably more. I was off to the side, traveling at a speed close to that of traffic (the very little traffic, the road was nearly empty). I wasnt impeding traffic, It seems he honked just to assert his douchebaggery. I flipped him off but the joke was on him because there was an unmarked speed bump a few feet ahead, boy did that freak him out.

I didn't say anything at all in any way to attack you. If nothing else, I fully support the cyclist being charged to the fullest extent of the law if for nothing other than being an asshole.
As a general rule of thumb though, not that this is directed towards you or anyone else specifically, but a lot of these situations could be avoided if people just brushed them off and were more respectful. No one really cares about being right or not, just saying or hearing "I'm sorry" and moving on is a much better approach. Unfortunately, few people are brought up to share that belief.

Sorry was actually meant towards another person now that I pay attention

I tend to get frightened in several areas down there. Last would be going down to the maverick center. Weird stuff going on.

Speaking from experience, a gun in the face does nothing to people who have crossed that line. I had a run in with a car load of individuals who's actions resulted in them getting several guns pointed at their faces. Despite them not having guns and being too far away from us to stab us, they continued their aggressiveness. Finally one of their own friends started getting physical with them until they left. It was weird. I was actually told by one of the dude's to shoot him. The kid clearly had watched way too many movies.

I live in a college town, where bicyclists are unpredictable, fast-moving and legion. It's not enough to check the sidewalk for pedestrians and the road for crossing traffic when pulling out. You have to get your eyes downfield on the sidewalk to make sure a bike isn't bearing down on you at speed. Every intersection requires additional scrutiny, since bikes routinely blow through stop signs and emerge unexpected (and illegally) in cross walks. Sudden and unannounced turns, lane changes and other illegal maneuvers are commonplace.
That's what makes cyclists so maddening—their unpredictability. The worst thing you can do in traffic (whether in a car, on a bike, or on foot) is to be unpredictable. And for all my complaints about drivers, the vast, vast majority do follow the basic rules of the road—stay on their side of the street, stop at red lights, yield (somewhat) appropriately at four-way stops, etc etc. But a large percentage of cyclists literally do none of these things. Like, ever.
